OUR MISSION
The mission of Palmetto Heat Softball is reaching the highest level of individual and team performance while maintaining a primary focus on character and sportsmanship on and off the playing fields.
Athletes are expected to exercise and enjoy their God-given talents to the best of their abilities, in both practice and play.

#PURPOSE
«Purpose» has a two-fold meaning for Palmetto Heat. The first being that we know we have been put together on purpose and with a purpose. The second being that we work and learn with purpose – each drill, each play – everything we do, we do with purpose.
PRAYER
We will encourage team prayer before and after all team activities, as well as encourage our players to pray for our team and one another. If you have any objection to this, please contact me directly for discussion.
We would also like to ask our families to pray for the team and coaches – that we execute a good balance of competitiveness and fairness, that we honor and respect our families, competitors and officials, and that we glorify God in all we do and say.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
Our model is to develop advanced talent and, more importantly, mold players of character. We will offer a variation of opportunities for development – indoor and outdoor practices, conditioning, situations, working with former college players, team camps, etc. As we develop, we will also strive to schedule tournaments and events that expose the girls to college coaches and organizations. They will have every opportunity possible to take this softball journey as far as they desire.
We will also challenge them in the areas of responsibility, sportsmanship, and character. Sports are symbolic of life!
We will work with the players to identify and track developmental measurements as well as set goals.
TEAM DEVELOPMENT
As we focus on player development and opportunities, we will also emphasize a Team First mentality. We strive to compete well and, yes, we do work towards and desire to WIN.
